Burst signs agreement with Sony to represent their CineAlta and large-sensor camera lines
06/27/12 |
Denver, CO - June 26, 2012 - Burst announced today it now has access to Sony’s SUPER 35MM cameras & camcorders, which include the PMWF3, NEXFS700 and NEXFS100.
“We are pleased to be representing Sony’s CineAlta and large-sensor cameras. Our customers are increasingly requiring this new technology, and we are delighted we can work with Sony to deliver cameras that meet their ever-changing needs,” says Burst president, Kirk Basefsky.
These cameras open up a whole new world of high-quality video production convenience and creative expression, and they produce dramatic, high-quality footage. With extraordinary picture quality, low light sensitivity, a shallow depth of field, and other creative aspects, videographers can capture a look similar to that of a film camera.
The PMW-F3L/RGB ($13,960) and PMW-F3K/RGB ($19,890) are the newest members of Sony's CineAlta lineup. They inherit DNA from the F35, which has been used for years in high-end digital cinematography, as well as most of the features and file-based workflow capabilities of PMW-EX1R and EX3 XDCAM EX solid-state memory camcorders.
The NEX-FS700U ($7,999.00) and NEX-FS700UK ($8,599) Full-HD Super Slow Motion camcorders are the latest in Sony's line-up of NXCAM interchangeable E-mount camcorders. They are designed for high-speed shooting, capable of capturing footage at up to 960 frames per second and feature a range of capabilities such as 3G HD-SDI output and built-in ND filters.
The NEX-FS100U ($4,999) and NEX-FS100UK ($5,599) feature a 35MM e-mount interchangeable lens system. Sony's E-mount interchangeable lenses feature precision-crafted optics with aspherical glass elements for compact high performance, and circular iris mechanisms for smooth background defocusing.
